Setting the Layer of Authorware's Drawing Functions

There are two ways to set the layer of an object
drawn using Authorware's graphic functions; we'll
use the Line function in our example.

A. Drag a display icon to the flowline and set the
layer of the display icon to the same layer that 
you want the Line to be drawn. Press [Ctrl]+[=] to
attach an ornament calc icon to the display icon
and enter your Line function.

B. An alternative method is to use the LayerDisplay
function to move the line drawn in a calc icon to
the desired layer. In the calc icon where the Line
function appears, precede the Line function with:

LayerDisplay(2, IconID)

...change "2" to whatever layer you want the line
drawn but don't actually type in an Icon ID or Title;
simply leave the second parameter as IconID. Authorware
will determine the ID of the calc icon in which this
function appears and set the layer of any graphic
functions within it accordingly.
