Running Authorware Applications Under OS/2 ------------------------------------------ The Windows environment in OS/2 is basically Windows 3.1 so you only can run 16-bit applications. Up to AW 3.5 you could author in WIN-OS/2; with 4.x this is no longer possible. However, you can still package a 16-bit version that will run in Win-OS/2. If you run an Authorware program under OS/2 it is highly recommended that you change the settings of the Win-OS/2 session to the following: WIN_RUN_MODE = 3.1 Enhanced DOS_HIGH = ON DOS_UMB = ON HW_TIMER = ON INT_DURING_IO = ON (There are other settings but those are the most important.) Also make sure your program starts a WIN-OS/2-FullScreen-Session because the drivers for seamless Session are slower and have a tendency to crash more often.
