Strange Error Message When Importing .RTF Files

Problem: 
I keep getting a message that says, "Exceeded 8000
lines. Must cancel operation.", when I attempt to
import an .RTF file. The file I'm importing is not
anywhere near 8000 lines long!

Solution:
This message is displayed if the file you're importing
contains bulleted text that's been created using Word's
bullet tool. Other characters may also cause this same
message. Replace the bullets with 'hand made' ones and
you should then be able to import.
