Setting the Layer of an Internal Digital Video Clip

Quicktime and AVI files are external digital video
files. The layer of external digital video files is
always on top of all other objects and cannot be 
changed (setting the layer of external digital video
files may eventually be possible with technology 
enhancements from Apple, Microsoft and/or Intel).

You can, however, set the layer of internal digital
video files such as FLC files or DIB sequences.

The properties dialog of the digital video icon in
Authorware 4 has a Layer parameter but earlier versions
do not. To set the layer of a digital video icon in
earlier versions of Authorware, single click the icon,
then set the layer of the icon using the Attributes/Effects
menu. Your video will then play at that layer.
